Make sure your location doesn't interfere with your upper link screws\/nuts and that the transmission mounting holes DO NOT interfere with the lower link mounting screws in the Blank Skid. Take your time and think everything through.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the transmission location has been identified, set the transmission on the blank skid and press down very firmly until the locating pins leave divots in the Delrin Skid. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse the drill bit provided and with your fingers, center the drill bit into the divots. By using your fingers you should be able to feel if you are in the center of the divot. Turn the drill bit clockwise in the center of the divot until it cuts a small recess. This will require a small saw, band saw or Dremel Tool to cut these portions off. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter trimming the skid sides as noted above, mount the Chassis Rails to the skid first, then PINCH the rails and install your crossmembers and servo tray. It is normal for the rails to have to flex and bend in order for the crossmembers to be installed. Work around the Chassis, tightening the screws a little at a time until all are snug.
